ABOUT SEÁN

Described by Beat Magazine as a singer that “rings of a soulful folk-pop sound”, some of Sean's major influences include Hozier, The Lumineers, Tame Impala and the Arctic Monkeys.

His debut single, ‘Treading Water’ premiered on Triple J’s national radio program ‘Roots n’ All’ with Nkechi Anele and was also featured on RRR and JoyFM. He held a single launch with his band at Northcote Social Club with support from Davy Simony and Paige Black.

Sean grew up in Dublin and first picked up a guitar when he was 8 years old, learning the basics from his Dad. He went on to study Fine Art and has worked as a designer for many years, both in Dublin and Melbourne, all the while continuing to write and record his own material.

He's spent the last 5 years working on his music with a renewed focus, crafting his own sound, picking up drums, bass and keys and producing his own tracks from his home studio and more recently at Fall Back Studios in Melbourne.
